In this section I will have available, for you to read, articles on modifications which can be performed, hints and service tips, and info on the engineering in the Sidekick/Tracker, and how it works.  I was a certified ASE Master technician for 5 years, and worked in a large Chevrolet/Nissan dealership for almost 2 of those years.  I specialized in drive-ability/engine controls and electronics.  I have since left the automotive industry and now work as a computer tech and network specialist.  I do however, still love to work on vehicles of all kinds and I thoroughly enjoy engineering and fabricating parts for Zuk Tracker.

List of subjects to be covered, hopefully sooner than later:

3.25" body lift for less than $50

Moving fuel tank up into frame for protection,
and replacing or beefing up flimsy factory fuel
tank skid plate.

2.5" suspension lift for less than $50-$70

Adding above to aftermarket lift to get even
more!

Improving articulation with and without
body/suspension lifts.

Custom safari type roof rack, no holes bolt on.

Custom front bumper/grill guard that is built
like a tank.

How to get adjustable caster/camber in front

How to convert to shocks in front, for those
that don't like $trut$ and their price

Converting to spring over shocks for limitless
lifts and articulation.

Using coil springs from boneyard donors to
achieve lift and articulation at a fraction
of the cost of aftermarket kits.

Possibilities of converting to torsion bars in front in place of coils.

rocker panel protectors/skids, that will
support the weight of vehicle and are bolt on
with no drilling to weaken the frame or body.

Rear bumper with built in receiver for hitch

Factory skid plates, and making better ones.

How to fit oversized automatic trans cooler.

Getting rid of excess road noise on 4dr. and
non-convertible models.

Review of aftermarket parts which I have had
experience with (I Love my Jacobs ignition!!!)

Gas can holder which mounts to spare tire.
